Summer 2012

This summer has been so fun and so relaxing!  We have really enjoyed our last summer as a "couple with no kids" and with no responsibilities!  We had the opportunity to do a lot of fun things out here in CA the last two months too.  Since I haven't posted anything about our life in a while there are lots of pictures to follow.

We went on a few hikes.  Needless to say hiking out here is not quite the same as UT, but still fun none the less.

  

We also spent some (but not nearly enough) time at the beach.

And had a really fun forth of July!

We also spent A LOT of time getting ready for baby girl Stephens!  That  include sanding and painting a dresser and changing table, shampooing carpets, moving McCall out of his "man cave", hanging some drapes, and just spending lots and lots of time daydreaming about our little girl!

During this summer we also spent a weekend in Utah with McCall's family, spent some more time with his family in Malibu, CA, went to Disneyland with my favorite kids in the whole wide world Mary Jane and Theo, hung out, relaxed, and just enjoyed the warm CA sunshine.

These last few pictures are from our last hurrah to the Sequoias with James and his now fiance Kaitlin!  He proposed while we were there!  We are so excited for them and cannot wait for Kaitlin to be a part of our family!!

Now that summer has come to an end Kimberly is getting ready to go back to work in just a few days and is actually pretty excited about it.  McCall will be starting a new job next week and will be starting graduate school on the 20th!  We are so excited for the next chapter of life to begin and even more excited for Fall to get here which will bring pumpkin patches, Utah football, and most importantly our sweet baby girl!
